The Jim Holsted Athlete of the Week is Jackson Free.

Jackson is a Junior on the Bomber Cross Country Team. He ran a personal best of 15:41 for 5k in his season opener at Bolivar, Missouri. This placed him 3rd overall out of 500 runners, leading the Bombers to a third place team finish out of 55 teams. Jackson is also on the Track and Field team and a member of Pomona Christian Church while holding a 3.5 GPA. His parents are Barry and Vickie Free.
