Josie Roark was hired on Thursday as Head Coach of the Junior High Lady Bombers. She will be over the 8th and 9th grade basketball programs at Mountain Home Public Schools.

"My first reaction was how excited I was and how eager I am to get to work," Roark said in a recent interview with KTLO, Classic Hits, and the Boot News "...One of the things I know about this program is how big they are on tradition, a tradition of hard work."

This will be Roark's first coaching job after recently graduating from ASU-Jonesboro. Roark, under the leadership of now Bryant head coach Eric Teague, was a member of three Class 2A state championship teams at Melbourne and was a 2-time member of the 2A All-State Team.

Roark will be assisted by Jordan Campbell, she will begin her duties in the summer.
